Prof. Jing Guo's Computational Nanoelectronics Group in the ECE department at University of Florida currently has an opening for a postdoc scholar. Background in quantum transport, ab initio simulation, and nanodevices is expected. A Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Material Science and Engineering is required. The position provides opportunities to carry out theory-experiment collaborations with leading experimental groups in the area of graphene through a graphene MURI project(http://graphenemuri.cnam.umd.edu/). Unlimited access to computational facilities and simulation softwares at the UF Higher Performance Computing Center (http://www.hpc.ufl.edu/ ), which is equipped with a multi-thousand CPU linux cluster, is provided.
